The journey begins. Pictures wouldn't do it justice and my feeble attempt to describe the moment will probably miss the mark. In short I'm chasing sunsets. I'm cruising at 34,000 ft glancing at my watch which displays a digital image of 10:30 P.M. and the distant sky still glows with excitement yet to come.
It's still light outside. This time of year Alaska is mostly daylight. It's hard to adjust at first, but the body has to rest sometime.
